We drunk delicious wines and smoked killer grass that made my speech go all funny and turned my quick visit to Tesco to get some more wine into a fucking adventure (security wouldn’t let me in initially, I was wearing a vest and burbling). Obviously the Italian contingent weren’t best pleased with the result but the Spanish element took her victory with quiet dignity. Five minutes after it was all forgotten, we left them all pushing more pizza into their faces chatting away like nothing had happened.

The fact you know anyone at Games Workshop is upsetting…

So you’ve not seen it then ‘destroyed ones in fire’ isn’t what I saw at the exhibition at the White Cube…

I saw the ones that were destroyed in that fire, so for all intents and purposes, yes I have. And no, I don’t know lots of people at Games Workshop. I leave that to the Chapman brothers – their largest customers.

Have you seen it? I’m not talking about looking grainy black and white pictures in the Barnsley Barnyard Express; I mean see it, in the flesh as it were?

I can imagine you knowing lots of people at Games Workshop by the way

I’ll pass on your ‘masterpiece’ comments to the good people at Games Workshop, by the way. I’m sure they’ll be delighted that a diarama of their work has finally been recognised for the great work it is. It makes all the other displays of its models one sees in every single one of its stores up and down the land seem worth it.
